 An update:  THANK you so much for your prayers, support and loving emails and messages.  We felt every bit of it!  Aemilia's surgery went well and thus far appears to be a success.  She is recovering well and on the road to healing!  She's crankier than we'd like ;) but we are so grateful that she was protected and is doing better!
